As the nursery at out grocery store closes down I hit it at just the right time for prices.  I just stopped to pick up something for my circle raised bed garden and instead found this for my front step. The prices were so reduced that I bought some seed hardy geraniums for my circle flower bed. 

 I also bought a pot of petunias for my new bench. I kept thinking it looked vacant out there without something near it or on it.

 The petunias are a new breed with red and white patterns. It is so hot out there that I brought it into the sun room today. I have so many pictures taken now and will be posting them for quite a few days. I missed a day yesterday and I don't know why. We are so very hot and humid today. I worked outside for a couple of hours this morning and I had to just stop and come inside. I have a pile of dug iris rhizomes in a cart waiting for me to replant them but I don't know when that will happen.
