Fall Harvest......

The look of fall is failing zinnias in the patch. The bright colors are all changing to different colors.

The morning glories will be gone very soon.  The colder it gets the less vines stay alive. These are in the tomato patch and as I remove tomato vines the glory vines are being cut out also.

I am using my antique basin holding the tomatoes left on the vine. Some will probably never ripen but I am hoping to get some good slicers out of these in the future. Two appointments this week for me. I am not looking forward to them but they are needed.  Thanks for stopping by today.

The tomatos will ripen...one year I layered them in an old apple box with a paper towels around them and put them in a dark closet and we had tomtaoes until Thanksgiving:)

Didn't do any tomatoes this year. Am depending on the generosity of a neighbor. He planted so many that he glad to leave some off every couple of days. They make so very good BLT's.
