Barney......

He really doesn't drink coke. I just hadn't put it away after we returned from the grocery store. The way  his tongue is hanging out it looks like he is thirsty.  I think he had just finished eating a dog biscuit and was licking is lips. Notice the results of what a lot of brushing on his fur can do for the quality of his fur.  He tolerates it but doesn't want to sit still very long at a time for a long brushing period. He has to coaxed to stay put to get the job done.

Creeping bell flower, that is very invasive, seems to have been enjoying all of our rain.  This plant I keep mowed back at the front of the yard to keep it under control and at the back yard I have it contained in an area against the house and a sidewalk.

I rescued this rose bush from a weedy garden at my parents' home. I don't like how it gets so deformed out of shape as soon as it opens fully.  It is red and not magenta, but it was to bright out for me to be taking pictures of red things.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great Sunday.

  1. Barney looks beautiful! What a sweet face. I always enjoy seeing the flowers in different parts of your yard. Hope you have a great day and hopefully your neighbor will not be spraying YOUR yard while you are at church.

  2. Lovely flowers, even more lovely dog. Amy hates being brushed too and bribes me not to bother (those dog biscuits might be an acquired taste, but they can be very moorish)

  5. Barney is lovely, he must have enjoyed that biscuit! :)

Holly is not very keen on being brushed either. Zac doesn't mind so much but he doesn't usually have as much to brush out as she has.

    Thanks for visiting mine!

Your Bellflowers are so cheerful and pretty..it seem somehow wrong to deny them a spot in your yard:)
