Sunday Stuff.......

About a dozen startling showed up during an afternoon rain. This one looks really soaked.  He did like picking out the seed among the suet.

The northwest winds caused the rain to turn into snow.  It snowed a long time making it look like typical winter weather. It was discouraging because we were doing some melting of our snow. We lost some snow but it was just not what we were hoping for being the snow as been around for a long time.  The weather person said we had acquired 35 inches of snow since the fist of January.

I took five photos of the sparrow and none of them were good.  I either cut the tail off the edge of the photo or I cut the top of the head off in the photo.

I took the photo to sow the colors of the bird so this one does work.  It was nice to see a full gray and brown bird with the nice accents of browns and white.

We are having a sunny day today and we are at borderline temperatures that will allow some more melting.  Our whole week is to be warm.  By Friday we could possibly have most of our snow gone.  Thanks for stopping by today.

I know you look forward to the snow melting. You have really had a bitter winter. I hope you both will have a nice week.
