A younger photo of Barney with his alertness and great amount of energy. We lost him a year ago today. We miss his whole being, with all the energy and outbursts of happiness in being just a dog. It has been a lonely year for us and we really still miss him a lot.

Oh, I don't read you EVERY day, and I somehow missed his passing. I know that loss. I'm so sorry for the loneliness, but glad that you saw simple joy in his living.
Awww I know how much you miss him, he was a good friend to you! Lonely here too. so we get it...not sure that helps misery loves company maybe!
