The filter gave me a totally different photo. It was a crisp and clear moon but I couldn't get the camera to pick it up as there were subtle clouds in front of it.
This morning the SAC Airforce had one of its jets out and about leaving a vapor trail. It is a slice in the sky contrasting to the fluffy clouds
My two trees in the front yard are starting to turn to red. It is a tree that eventually puts out small apple-like berries which the birds do like. It is like an ornamental pear but mine is the cousin variety that puts out small fruits that remind me of apples. A big section of this tree was blown out by the derecho winds two summers ago. You can see the hole or space in the tree from one side and I really don't want to take it down at this point of tiime.
The drought caused the sedum to put out dry brown flowers and now it just looks like it has dead flowers. We did almost catch up on our rainfall but it was too late for a lot of things for this season. It is cooler and will be rain storms tomorrow.

Great Moon shot. I see the one out tonight is orange-ish. It is glowing through the clouds.
