The color was short lived but I am glad I caught it. I was up early or I would have missed it. I can see the trees are a little fuzzy.
I brought in some new zinnias. The vase of ones that I had before had dried out ones for a few weeks.
I have read about gardeners who create all white flower gardens so they can enjoy them in the evening. I took this at almost dark and the flowers did seem to pop. These petunias revived from a drought and this is the best they have looked all summer. The hardy geranium also took a rebound with rains and cooler weather.
I thought the battery was shot on this light but it is working. I put it into the pot recently as the ground was so dry that it kept falling out of the soil and laid on the ground.
This photo is the cause of the night shots that I was taking last evening. I have had a hard time finding it as the phase was putting it behind my trees and I couldn't see it. It was out in the open and in the southwestern sky.
I have had a sluggish day today but I did get some things done. I need more energy. Thanks for stopping by today.
