Saturday....missed a day!

Sunshine is enjoyed by all. We warmed up a bit and the snow is still melting. The longer days of light help the oxalis bloom.

The high winds have stopped and the birds have returned to the feeder. The doves are back with the snow being gone.  I don't know where they stay all winter.

The pumpkin seeds are now all cleaned and dried. I found an old pickle jar and they are now in storage.  I will probably only plant two of these many seeds.  Notice the tools that I used to get that pumpkin cut into half. I started with a box knife and that didn't work. I reached up and grabbed a handsaw and that worked great. I did half to use the screw driver to help pry it open.

I had a leftover shelf from my wife's new doll display case. I cut it into two strips giving me wood for two narrower shelves.  With leftover scraps of wood I have invented brackets to hold up the two shelves.

I have all parts now painted with a thin coat of white paint to match the shelf boards. I will assemble and be done with them on Monday.  Time to move the clocks forward. I have to dig out the directions each time for the one next to my side of the bed. I sleep in such different cycles so losing an hour won't mess with me much. I need to sleep better but don't seem to be doing so.

Thanks for checking in today.
