The clouds did clear and the sun did warm us up to 77 degrees F. The sun is behind all of this and in a half hour later it was in sight.
Only one of my peonies in the back yard actually survived the rains. This one was doing badly in the front yard and I moved it to a backyard location. It liked the soil and location better.
Only one of my moss rose was blooming this morning and the others were not. I did buy more of t hese and put them all in there to make a full tray of them.
My iris are almost done blooming. I got this one from Sally so that is what I named it and it looks good with a stray last blooms.
I worked in the back yard mowing and trimming. I hate when the string in the trimmer keeps messing up and breaking. It does work well but some days it takes so much resetting of the string. The hostas have never looked so good in a couple of years. My daughter in law keeps hers divided but I guess I never thought that I had to. I am the lazy gardener when it comes to hosta. I just plant them and walk away.
I made a quick trip to the pharmacy this afternoon and picked up a few extra things. I went early and really did beat the crowd. I had a small list and didn't over buy too much. That was a first time for a long time.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Yes you can divide Hostas if they are crowding other plants. Yours look good! I just got in from mowing too:)
Your Peony and Iris are gorgeous! Our Hostas do very well just being ignored!
