I thought they were buttercups. Now I was thinking they were primrose. I guess I can't find them specifically on the net. I just don't know and I don't want to spread misinformation.
I have started sanding on one of the four drawers. I didn't work on it this winter but maybe when it is very I can do a drawer once in a while. All walnut with carved pulls of walnut wood. The nails holing on the trim are square ones with square heads.
I watered in the backyard today and fertilized the tomatoes. The glads that the bunny ate off are now coming back. Another hot day today and the promise of rain in the afternoon is slight. Thanks for checking in today.

I thought they might be primrose, too. If not, maybe potentilla???? Anyway, they are pretty and look like they are growing well. I enjoyed all the photos in today’s post. It is hot here and if it does not rain, we will water the few little plants we have. We got medicine for our little dog who has become so scared of rain and thunder. So far, it is helping him.
so hot the last two days. Storm just rolled in and it has cooled things down about 10-20 degrees. Seriously cooling things off. Not much rain... so far. Probably not going to be much either. But I'll take the clouds for the rest of the day. That sun will bake you!.
P.s. I forgot to say what a gorgeous drawer front that is on your post today. What a treasure. I hope you will enjoy working on that and that you will share your results with us.
what are the beautiful red and white flowers? Upon a close look, I do think the yellow ones are Primrose. I have an antique dresser with the very same carved handles.
that is one beauty of a drawer!! Primroses!!
