We finish breakfast and I fill up my cup with more coffee. Unfortunately this ends up to be my morning office. Phone, remotes for the morning news and stock market stations, and a frivolous sport of folding origami cranes. I need to clean up this mess.
We did get some snow. It lasted until noon and warmed just a little. My neighbor cleared my driveway of the snow and he got to have all the fun with his snowblower. I wasn't planning on doing it until late afternoon.
The juncos seemed to be few and far between all fall and winter but when it snow they are out there. I see why they call them snow birds as they dig down into the snow to get to the seed. The snow sticks to their face and it looks funny.
The sparrows liked having the juncos open up the snow bank on the feeder. I just filled the feeders yesterday and it was a good thing.
My creative project is pretty sad but I found a new way to make origami birds. The difference is one of me making an easier folded bird and it is smaller. The larger one is the style that I have made since I was eight years old. I found the new process on the internet and tried to follow it step by step. I mentioned in an earlier blog that I had a goal of making ten of them in one day. That didn't happen.
Thanks for stopping by today.
