Sunday the Fourth.....

A lily blooming at the old place. There are few flowers left there as the gardens have been not cared for during the past four summers. This lily is going strong anyway.

The hydrangea is doing well up there. There was enough rain to cause it to have many blooms.

This is familiar as  part of this lily now grows at the new place. It is just as bright red up there as it here at the new place.

A few hollyhocks are blooming up there too. It was nice to see them in bloom. I may try to move some of them and try growing some again. The voles thought they tasted really good.

With it being unchecked the bee balm has spread out all over the corner of the one fence area. I need to move some to the new place because I have the pink variety at the new place.  You can see the volunteer tree growing up out in the middle of the field.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you all have a great Fourth of July weekend.

Beebalm makes for good additive to soap. Cheryl has been keeping an eye out for it on the trail, so we can harvest some. Must be nice it grows in your yard for free.
