We are resting today from all the fireworks from last night. We had hours of fireworks until midnight up and down all our streets. A neighbor across the street set up a large number of explosive works so close that we couldn't deal with the noise of it. We stayed inside and watched all the houses in our back yard being lighted up from the glow. The sky was smokey form it all.
The vegetation seems to be crowding out the gazing ball. Traditionally they sit out in the open as an accent piece among the flowers.
I was surprised to see the phlox in bloom as I haven't been in the back yard most of the week. I met with a realtor on Saturday to show him the 110 year old house. I spent the week taking away all my tools and cleaning up floors for him and his wife to come and see. I lost my health that was at one time good enough for me to work on the house. So I now have to sell it "as is" with some things in the middle of construction. I needed to finish a ceiling in one room and I didn't get two floors replaced. I have a set of four people who work together to flip houses. I am hoping that a sale can go through. Flippers will demolish and rebuild most of the insides of the hose.
My hardy geraniums are looking good in their new pot. I have to water them often as we still are hot and dry. It is a day off even though the fourth was yesterday. I think it still sort of feels like a Monday. Thanks for stopping by today.

From what I hear now is the time to sell real estate, hope you get your price! You will have less to do...two places is a lot of work. Sorry to hear you had such a noisy neighboorhood, we heard a few booms and that was it:)
I know it will be bittersweet to sell your old home. I am thankful you have been able to transplant many flowers over thr years.
We had very inconsiderate neighbors with fireworks, also. It was a miserable night.
