Taking good care of it and it has paid off. Not too wet, not to dry, and carrying it out to the sunfroom daily makes it happy.
The tree is going to stay up all January. I like how it is a beacon out in the back row of houses. I like to think that all the kids in the area can look at it for fun. This kid likes to see it anyway.
Shiny brite ornaments of old had limited shapes but the bell is one of its classics. This is a newly created modern one made with the label of shiny brite.
The middle ornament is also a shiny brite newly created in China. Ornaments will be coming down in the near future.
This is an old lady sitting in a chair, holding many things. I found it broken in the wife's doolhouse and it had lost one leg on its chair. Thankfully the dress covers the legs as I had to substitute a peg to replace the turned styled legs that it origiaally had. It would be a shame to toss her just becaus she could sit squre with the world.
We are getting use to the cold weather. We had a wonderful morning of sunshine but the afternoon became a cloudy one. I made a mad dash to the grocery store and it was busy on the road. The cold walk to the store is what it is. Our store is only a mile away so I don't worry about going over there. Tomorrow may be a sunny day all day.

We haven't seen the sun in ages. But that is okay, one day it will come out again!
I love that you are leaving the tree outside lit up. Our neighbors on the ridge are doing the same. It is nice to see their colors in the evenings.
