Frame jobs.......

A woman had some family problems with inheriting a certain quilt made by her mom.  To solve the problem,  she is having me frame up a single quilt piece per family member to help make them less upset.  The mother had started the quilt squares but never had put them together.  If you remember I also framed some sun bonnet quilt blocks much earlier.

Thanks for stopping by........

I love these framed quilt pieces and I do remember the earlier ones you matted/framed. You did a great job. What a treasure for each family member.

Larry, if you enjoy air shows, I just posted a video of a pilot I met yesterday on my blog.

That is not uncommon. I have a friend who has 1/2 of a woven coverlet because her sister insisted they split it. I don't think I could do that.

I just noticed today that I forgot to put in the mat an identification tag of the person who made them. That means I have five of these to take back apart again to cut a small window in the top mat. Bah Humbug!!!!!

very sweet. Well done, and don't get upset about the extra work... just go a long as you can.
Well, that is what I do - then have some more tea and a nap!

What a great idea to settle things. Too bad some families get so hung up with the possessions. They should be satisfied with the memories instead.

Thank you, L.D., for visiting my blog over here in South Wales, UK. I love this quilt work and your beautiful framing. I have just started painting in oils, which is a lovely new hobby. That little feral Callie is so delightful! I must look up the rest of the Chris Tomlin worship song ...
