I cut back the competition plants that were around this peony last summer. This spring I was surprised to see it had already started to bloom as it is next to the alley and I can't see the plants from the house. The mulberry trees and weeds were busy taking all of the moisture a light the past few years.
The other peony bush that sits close to the one above is out in bloom too. I guess they are in more full sun in the afternoon that any of my other peonies as they are the only ones in bloom right now. Normally these plants are bloomed out by now so everything is late this year.
A hard day of work today and will be glad for the weekend to arrive. Thanks for stopping by.
