This is just a spot to visit, of one who is on a journey. You can see my projects, plants, family, pets, artworks, antiques and anything else that comes along.

Tuesday's Things......
The tracks are melting but we still have enough snow left to see the movements of the rabbits, squirrels, cats and dogs. We will get a new light snow coating late this afternoon. It won't stick around for very long if our low temps won't be in the freezing zone.
The water is not going into the ground as it is still frozen. We have little water ponds everywhere in our yards and down our sidewalks. The weather people are saying we will be have a lot of flooding this spring. The Great Lakes are going to be overflowing which means the Mississippi River will overflow its banks also. Lake Superior flows into the Mississippi. Some years Iowa and Illinois are begging them to release more water into the river and there is no cooperation. Now I bet they will have no choice but send it down the river.
Lake Weber at the corner of my street is still overflowing. My wife said the city workers came to remove all the snow that they had dumped onto the corner of our property and they dug up dirt thinking the clogs were at the entrance and exit of the culvert. It is frozen ice in the middle of the tube. I guess the city brought in a pump and tried to transfer the water over to our ditch. It worked for a while but the lake was back by the end of the day. A few warm days above 60 degrees will take care of it.
I will be traveling to seven different classrooms today, covering each teacher while they are out watching their peers in action. Every staff person does have a different style when they teach so they should pick up things from their experience. Rain and snow predicted for late this afternoon. I hope it doesn't last for long. Tired is the word which we blame on DST. It sounds like a serious disease but our bodies sure think that it is pretty serious. Maybe by Friday I will get adjusted to it.
Thanks for stopping by today.

How happy the bloom looks a spot of joy.
