Off beat and blaaahhh......
The paperwhites became very tall in the last couple of days. One of my friendly bloggers bought the same product and asked me if I had smelled them. They have a very strong pepper smell as well as a sort of sweet smell.
This is a plant blog today as you can see. It is time to see a change in our season. Photos of the most common flowers will be my change today.
I bet right now there is three foot of snow sitting on top of this flower bed. I will be going out and scooping walks again tomorrow. I did really enjoy the Olympics ceremony tonight Canada. It will be nice to see a few of the competitions.
Thanks for reading......

Love those Paperwhites. Did you know you can also grow them in rocks with no soil, and even in water?
Lovely flower pictures, makes me look forward to spring.
Sunny :)
Good morning L.D. ~ I have some paperwhite bulbs in my main garden. Some years they bloom, some they don't. I was delighted the first year to smell their sweet scent. This year they've come up, but have not had any blooms. Maybe they will yet. Your other flowers are so pretty, and I know you are eagerly awaiting spring. Hang in there it will arrive soon.

Love your flowers today. Is the middle one Sweet William? Such a pretty little blossom. I look forward to watching the Olympics too.
The paper white flowers look beautiful.I have also seen the other paper white flower in your other post. The pot and the background looks nice. The name is interesting. Other flowers look colorful and cheerful. Look forward to see the spring photos.
Paperwhites seem to be one of those plants about which everyone has a strong opinion, either positive or negative. I happen to love the scent when it fills the house, but live with someone who promptly moves them to the garage to get rid of the "nasty smell".....yours are quite beautiful. I'll have to enjoy them vicariously.
Thanks for commenting on my blog - the sidewalks here are so warm that one of my nieghbors complimented me on getting out and cleaning the sidewalks... i didn't. the heat just melted the snow away.
Yes, it is a peppery but sweet smell....glad you and others get what I meant! Loved seeing all these flowers in your post with all the snow you have been having, you definitely need to look at them in hopes of spring to come. I loved the opening ceremony of the Olympics too and Ono is great!
I do love paperwhites, but my husband finds the scent too strong. So we don't have them in the house. Once of those give and take things in a marriage!
