Middle of the Week........

There are very few blooms outside now but this hardy geranium is getting a new life.  Its blooms are striking in color with the dark pink petals and white centers.

I have been working on the inside ceiling of the porch today and I walked around this planter most of that time.

The feral cat stays its distance as I work on the porch today.  There is dry cat food out there for it so it won't be starving.  I wish it could be tamed but it just isn't.  The winter will be difficult but a neighbor keeps a garage door open for all the free roaming cats.

Two out of three of my burning bushes are normal size.  This one was a larger one but the burn pile is close to it and it doesn't like the heat. Most all of it died and the few branches that have come up after its semi dermise.  The shrub has come back as a miniature form of itself.

Most all of the hostas are in decline.  They won't last for very much longer.   I have spent most of the day outside trying to get the last of my work done.  I can see now that I am not going to get it all done but I will do the priority stuff first tomorrow.  It was pretty cool out there and I had to wear long sleeves.  I think tomorrow will be my last day before the storm slides in near us.
I really am not ready for winter but things will be ready regardless of the weather.

I trust everyone had a good day.  Thank your for stopping by today.

Your Hostas look sad. You may get a melt after this first blast of winter:)
