A very cold day.......

Wind chills from arctic air and high winds make life outside miserable.  I ventured out this Friday morning to see why the birds had given up on things in the feeder tray.  I found the entire batch of seed was frozen over with frost and snow.  I fixed the situation and the mourning dove is grateful.

Our plans for Saturday include staying inside all day. No travel plans with it being this cold. We actually had a worse winter last year with a lot of snow and it remained below zero for so many days. That really is not much to make it feel warmer now.  It is still winter in Iowa.

Thanks for stopping by........

You're having a hard time of it, Larry. The cold must really be intense if you have to think twice before venturing outside.

We are heading down to Florida later this week, but it looks like we will have cold all the way down there...only going for 3 weeks so I hope some of the days we can get out in 70's and sun to warm my cold Michigan bones. ha
