It is a traditional shape. It is unconventional as the stripes are felt texture. But it is a nice looking piece. You start to read the label and it sounds like a good thing. It is constructed following the traditional techniques from the 1800's in Europe. Then you just have to read the bottom of the label.

Yes, when I was a kid the made in Japan or Taiwan was on everything, now I guess my old German ornament is styled after, looks like it, but is made in China.
Interesting ornament..very pretty! Cannon Falls is a town in Minnesota..it doesn't have anything to do with it ..does it? :)
