Saturday Stuff..........

While out at the garden I picked these romas and carried them around while I was looking for things to photograph.

As I kept wlking around I kept coming back to take another shot.  I don't know why it made me think of the bands that use to go on tour and would place signs out everywhere before they arrived.

The tomatoes did make it to the front porch table.  The angel was not amused but I think they were removed soon to become a part of bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches. Thus ended that tour.

I need to get out with a bucket and now picked some more tomatoes. The roma is a different variety as the tomato drops to the ground when it gets ripe and doesn't stay on the vine.

The moss rose puts out another show for a little while.  The whole planting is fading now as fall starts to appear. It is have cold nights now which may really slow it down.

We have been tied down the past month so today we will go to the bookstore. It is with mixed feelings of the why's and how's as we start our new life without our little dog.  We will be fine in the future but not right now.  Our big dog Barney is not happy with a smaller pack and he was such a good friend of our Button. I do appreciate all the kind words as many have been through the trials of losing pets.  Our loss is no larger than anyone else.  It is nice to have people alongside with us as we move on with our lives.  Thanks for stopping by today.

What a beautiful Morning Glory! I totally understand that you will be okay...just not right now. 18 years is a long time to have a dog in your life so it will take some time to adjust. Poor Barney missing his friend:(

I certainly understand the sadness and grief you both feel and Barney too. Please give my love to Della. I know these past months have been difficult. Button had a long life with you guys and it will be hard to adjust to his absence.
We are feeling cooler here. This a.m. was below 70 degrees for the first time since June.
I know you are enjoying those tomatoes.
I hope your outing to the bookstore will be pleasant.
Please know that we are thinking of you in your loss.

We have been buying our tomatoes from a roadside market, big and juicy, just as I like them :)
The deer have taken over, so we have stopped growing vegetables !
