Sunday.......

The couch and chair did arrive on Friday.  The chair came in the front door easily enough.  The couch almost did not make it.  The legs on the couch were four inches long and that was the barrier to keep it from coming in easily.  The two guys and myself figured out how to give it the twist and as it finally entered the house it was standing on one end.  The couch is a brown gray textured weave but it isn't a statement like the chair is. They both are so comfortable to sit on or even sleep on when necessary.

We visited a store today called "At Home".  This is the first time that I had found class blown ornaments like this for this season. No others stores offered them this year.  They were marked down so much that they were almost free.  It is a set of snowmen and not one of them is identical to another. I bet that drove the painters crazy when they went to place them in the different spots for packaging.

Another shot of the red bellied woodpecker taken with my camera.  We finally found a store that carries the battery needed for the functioning of my wife's camera. The camera has a single small battery that makes all the menus work. No major stores carry it.  When it went down, the whole camera shuts down.  When it is back up and running I can start taking better bird photographs.

I found another old painting done by me many years ago.  I took it out of the frame and glass and saved the painting. It is easier to store that way.  I threw the glass and frame away.  This is one of those paintings that I did while looking at a travel photo of a travel brochure. I think it might be a church in one European country.  I liked the composition and the church nestled in the hills.

It is Sunday and things are all about on the same schedule as usual.  We will stop for the battery at the Batteries Plus" store on the way home.  The battery that controls the camera will cost us a whole four bucks.  Found it on the internet first.  We are warming up more today and will stay a little warmer for a few days.  It is January and who knows what will happen. Thanks for checking in with my spot today.

Glad you were able to find a battery and can use the camera. The woodpecker shot was a good one, Larry.
