Barney is Fine........
Our move to the new place seemed to be a challenge the very first day but everything seems to get better and better for him. He is laying there looking out at the deck and watching some things that are going on outside. Birds and squirrels are enjoying my addition of a bird feeder. Barney now can sleep in our bedroom and he does like that. He does get up and move around in the night time but he just is finding different temperature zones to enjoy. Barney was into so much routine that the new place kinda of shocks him some. He is sleeping a lot now and catching up on all his days of disruption. He fell in love with furnace guys a few weeks ago and the truck movers made up to him too. When we moved in Barney was here to see the same people bring in all the stuff. Then the boys of his were both here to help move things and that did make him pretty happy. He hadn't see the boys for long period of time but he made up to them right away. He didn't like that they did leave.
I haven't moved all of my plants yet but the ones that I did move like the windows. I will move more as time goes on and we clear out the rest of the house.
There are so many things to do when you change residences and I think we can finally say we have all of them done. We resolved internet issues last night when the phone company allowed us to talk to a real person. We had the internet as of Monday but they would let us get on until we registered or modem on line and paid them some money. It was a frustrating time.
Things of old are now sitting in the garage where the boys had put them. I think the angles seems disgusted with us.
The past owners have a lot of good plants already planted. These hyacinths are better looking than mine at the old home place. We looked at the house in the winter so there was no way we would know what was out there. I see I have a New England bluebell plant and also a bleeding heart plant. Rhubarb is coming up in 5 or more places and I can see maybe there will be some tulips. I know there will be more plants to discover.
It has been a not so smooth transition but we are going to survive it all. We moved to our new place about two weeks sooner than planned but we followed the flow and everything did work out great. We have had about 18 days straight of rain and clouds. Today it is sunny but not very warm. Thank you for stopping by today. It is nice to be reconnected.

Barney looks very content! So happy you are back online. You have some nice windows for your plants. It is such a blessing to "inherit" plants from previous owners as it is bittersweet to go off and leave plants at the old residence. I know you will both be very happy in your new home. May God bless.
Good to hear from you! I have been thinking about you and wondering how you all made the move. Barney looks okay! I hope he likes his new yard and you have a good place to walk him :)
Lookin forward to more news on the new place.
Moving is so difficult for everyone...even pets. I know you are going to settle in eventually. We are STILL trying to settle in, and I honestly don't think things will be the way we want them for at least a year. Glad you have some plants coming up at the new place. So nice to have so much help!
Change can be invigorating. I hope you love your new home, and it looks like Barney is settling in!
