This is just a spot to visit, of one who is on a journey. You can see my projects, plants, family, pets, artworks, antiques and anything else that comes along.

Sunday Shots......
I have three of these jack in the pulpit plants. They shoot up in a very shot period of time and I am sure they will retreat just as quickly. The variety that grows in our timbers have a dark colored jack in their pulpits and the leaves are deeper green with some red cast in some of the striping.
Two out of four of these in the one location are still doing well. The white with golden bell variety is now gone. These two will be the last of my daffodil blooms for this season.
Two little boys have a new place to play in their back yard. We can see it across the street between thetwo houses. There are a lot of these in our neighborhood. I looked out yesterday and the dad was inside of the shed putting finishing touches on the house. It has a sled and other bells and whistles. We see a lot of these in these in the neighborhood even though some of the kids have outgrown them and they are weathered gray.
The last rain was an inch and a quarter. We are getting a lot of moisture. I did take us out of the drought zone even though south of us it is still considered to be too dry. My tomatoes have survived the bad storm on Saturday easy morning and now our rains today. I might get muddy pretty soon. The sun did come out this afternoon for a short time. The streets were flooded when we got out of church.
The tomato shown in front is the cherry tomatoes and it is a husky plant. The others are all roma or early boy tomatoes. They all will grow well this year as I got them into the ground early. More grass to mow again very soon. Thanks for stopping by today.
