It is February in Iowa and we have had snow and ice and snow for so many long weeks. It hasn't really thawed out for a long time here. We haven't seen our yards since before Christmas and it has been unusually cold for various long periods of time, so the natural evaporation and reduction of snow just hasn't taken place. So I am posting the flowers of summer from my garden, in hopes that we do survive this winter. Fortunately, we are said to be having a five day time period this week in which our temperatures will reach above forty degrees. That will be a great sight to see, water, unfrozen liquid, running down our streets and sidewalks. Spring is still a couple of months away for us. Have a good day.
