End of the Week....

We didn't get red leaves on this tree this year. Yellow is a color but usually it has a reddish green leaf showing at this time at this year.

The locust tree has almost dropped off its limbs. An unusual thing happen last week when we had a strong wind and a light rain.  The leaves blew south and coated my neighbor's black shiny suv. It was a polka dotted car and they stayed on the vehicle for most of the day. As things dried off the little leaves fell to the ground.  I am sure Doug also took the soft polish cloth and brushed the away.

The neighbors to the south completely moved away yesterday. They had lived there for twenty plus years. I am not sure whybut they built a new house. He is three years younger than me and they may have wanted to move to a better lot to care for.  We live on a hill and the walkout basements are nice but to get from one level to the other outside you need stairs like this one shown.  This is Doug's created solution to his access to the back lot. I took a shot today to study the design.  I have stairs on one side but I would like to do something on the other end. His new house sits on a flat lot and he will find life easier to work on with his yard.

We already miss our neighbors and their dog.  It feels like we scared them off but we really didn't.  Our next adventure is to see who the new owners are and do they have dogs, many kids, and lots of cars? Thanks for stopping by today.

That is a nice design for steps...but it almost needs a hand rail...yes I notice those things:) Cool here today and snow was in the air. Hope you get wonderful neighbors!
