Friday's Finds....

Sometimes the hummingbird raises its beak to help drain down the nectar into their throat. This time I think it is just looking up to see if there was any danger from an invader hummer.

It is looking around to see what the other birds are doing. This shot shows more of its true reflective color.

While clearing weeds and grasses out of my garden I did get to see one monarch. It didn't hang around long for it on the zinnias but it did take a break on the leaves of the red bud before taking off up the hill.

I have not had a lot of butterflies this year. I take shots of anything that looks like one. I have found the identification of this one before but today I can't seem to locate its name.  If I do find it later i will return and write it down.

I like buds and keep collecting shots of them. This one turns into a wonderful rose.

I worked outside today and it was a warm morning. I wore a parka to carry my phone but I had to shed that as it was too hot. We will have high temps today. I actually listen to music while I work out there as my phone sends sounds to my hearing aids. I eventually find a place to lay it down so I can get my sounds but just can't carry it around.  It is a cloudy day even though we are hot. I don't think rain will be coming.  We do need rain.
Thanks for stopping by today.
