October 1st.......

As the weather gets to be colder the morning glories expose to that cold air are not blooming now.  When they do bloom you can see that a small flower is all that shows. It is half the size of a normal bloom.

It looks larger here but it is just that I am holder the camera closer to the morning glory. The vines do seem to be dying so there should not be even small blooms soon.

My oxalis that are in a pot outside are starting to bloom again.  I think it has been too wet for them but they are coming back around to look good.  I will probably bring them inside when the temperatures get closer to the early frost times.

I turned while returning to the house to see that the blue morning glory had a couple of blooms open this afternoon.  It has not warmed up much today but apparently the light was strong enough for it to bloom.  These blooms are normal sized.  I shot this with the blue gate in the distance.  It did cause the flower to be slightly off focus but the blues sure do go together well.

Thank you for stopping by today.
