Sunday Afternoon.....

The first snow gave us a heavy covering of very wet stuff.  It happened over the night time as it was done by morning.  My weather rock at the end of the rail is almost covered up with the white stuff and the old bird feeder has snow on its roof.

Everything was coated with snow.  The temperatures were really not that cold so it is melting quickly this afternoon. We did need the moisture and this is an okay way of getting some.

The Bradford pear tree is late dropping its leaves. The remaining leaves are coated with snow and still hold their fall colors. It makes a wonderful pattern of snow and color.

One tree is now up and there are a few more to be assembled.  The teddy bear tree is a fun one to put together as they bears need to just balance among the branches.  It is a slow start, but it is a start none the less.  Thank you for stopping by today.

If your weather rock is white, it must have snowed!
