A Birthday Day......

 The mulit-petaled tulips are coming out now. It is almost like over night that they appeared and bloomed. 

I now remember that I planted the Rembrandt type tulip along my stairway. I only have one bloom and there should be fifteen more to bloom. They will get a workout next week with fence builders being out there next to it next week. 

A line marker was here this morning checking for the location of power lines and other types of lines. The fence builders will have to configure where the posts will go. If they have to place poles near  power lines they have to dig them by hand. Fifty bucks per post when they hand dig it. Otherwise they pound them into the ground for free.  The fence will come up the hill and stop at the top of the sidewalk. I will have a gate for the stairs and another for access to the back yard with my lawnmower. 

Today is my wife's birthday. A year ago she was in the hospital just being transferred from intensive care. She had lost too much weight and was unable to walk. She also was barely eating from a throat injury. God is good and she is doing so well today. We will hit the Olive Garden for her parm chicken and we will have red velvet cake when we return. She is so miraculously well from such a long time being so sick. I bought her lots of fun gifts to make up for last years horrible birthday. We don't take either of our health conditions for granted anymore.
