On the ground.......standing straignt.


The rain fills the iris blooms with water and down they go.  I didn't know it had even bloomed and then had to rescue it.


It is another of my favorites.  It usually has three or four stalks but only one developed this year. You can see how beat up the flowers look with hail damage and too much water.   They are just saturated and were dripping water when I took the shots.

The same thing happens with our white iris plant, Larry. The purple ones are OK, but the white one gets top heavy and falls down every year. Your red ones are really pretty and we have none of those in our yard. The day lilies are coming into bloom now.
