Saturday Afternoon's Post......

Saturday morning and the clouds are churning.  With the earth tilting that sun will start  showing up stop the right of all those trees.  It will take a month or less to get to move.

When there is a hurricane or tropical storm going along the coast, we get stranger forms of clouds.  This is not a normal cloud formation in our area.

My zinnias are covered with painted lady butterflies.  They also seem to be getting something off of the surface of the sunflower leaves.

The camera focused in on the orange bloom and not so much for the pink one. The whole area is busy with the butterflies and the humming birds. Once in a while a goldfinch flies in and land on a bloom to get some seed from them. Their weight causes the stem to swing up and down and they just ride it out. I assume they could be getting bugs off of the flowers but I an not sure they eat bugs. Most all birds do.

Hidden in the jungle of the marigold_type flowers is a tomato waiting for me to pick it. They seem to be slowing down in their ripening and that is good for us.  We can have too many tomatoes easily.  I will take tomatoes to different families tomorrow at church.

I have just returned from the bookstore and noticed that it really has warmed up outside. We have not had warm weather for days so it seems to be nice to have. The seeds are being formed in the sunflower bud.  You can see our unusual cloud formations behind the flower.

I wish everyone to have a great day.  Be safe out there all my coastal blog friends. Thanks for stopping by today.

Still lots of color in your garden, and that tomato looks delicious.
