I really wasn't planning on collecting marbles as much as I wanted to start putting them all in the same container. Since I made that decision I have found marbles on gravel driveways, in my garden, in drawers and today in an old bandaid box filled with aquarium gravel. The box was in the basement on one of my shelves next to the workbench. I don't have a clue how I have ownership of it but I found many marbles in it.
They are like the older ones that I remember from when I was a kid. It is a mystery but I am going to be glad to add them to my collection. I am actually thinking they came from my parents house but I think they have been on that shelf for years as I do remember seeing it there. I had believed it had nuts and bolts in it.

What pretty marbles and a fun mystery about the ones in the band-aid box. I spent many hours playing outside in the dirt with marbles when I was a kid.
I was always fascinated by the variaton of colours in marbles. I never see any youngsters playing with them these days.
I love my marbles, I have a special marble jar for them..I should blog about it some day! Thanks for the inspiration! I collect them so I cannot lose them. Yours are very pretty..especially that yellow one:)
