It was a rainy day with no sunshine. It did keep it cooler and we really do need some rain.. It gave me an excuse to not mow any yards today even though they need some attention. My sunflowers are getting good size buds on them but none of them have opened. I have one glad stem that is going to start to show off its color. Thanks for checking in today.

Nice! My sunflowers opened and then last week we had terrific winds which knocked many of them down! But I made huge bouquets of them.
Enough did survive to keep opening and providing seeds for the goldfinches!
