Sunday Afternoon Notes....

This is a painting by me that hangs over my desk area. I have not painted for many years as life just got too busy.

In the same area of my desk I saw books in a stack.  It makes sort of an interesting photo allowing you to snoop in my old library.

Also in the area was this painting that I did on a slab of walnut wood. I like how the raw bark is still on the piece.

A jar of marbles sits in the same area. I had to do some dusting as I haven't been in the area for a while I spend more time keep the floor area around the cockatiels.

My Aunt Lois was 89 years old. Her health was failing but as soon as she was infected with covid from a worker at the nursing home, she was taken. I just have word that my brother in California has had the flu for a few days but he is getting better.  The man in which he rents a room in his home,  is in a hospital and is on a ventilator. I was glad my brother did get better.

Thanks for stopping by today.

My sympathy in the loss of your aunt, I pray your brother continues to improve.
Your art work is stunning, I love both pieces. It is always fun to see the books our friends enjoy. Lately I have been tempted to look at seed catalogs. I see that the sunflower is the 2021 flower of the year.🌻

So sorry about your Aunt Lois. The Nursing homes are scary places to live nowadays. I like your marble jar:)

I am so sorry for your loss...and so hope your brother recovers fully.

Love your barn painting. And if I go to someone's house, I look to see if they have books laying around, or even in shelves. Always want to see what they read. Or what music they listen to.
