Thursday's Things.....

A house finch looks into our living room window.  It may be just looking at its own reflection and wondering what is happening.

I haven't seen a housed finch at the feeders for over a month. They are a cute bird with great markings on their wings. As the snow melts away the seed that has been scattered from the feeder above is being exposed.

Ir is time for it to be torn apart and put away in the box. Our oldest grandson built it from a new box of legos. That was two summers ago and I decided it just needed to be put away. I bought it telling him we would just keep this one at our house for him to play with when he returns.

I was out yesterday afternoon to put fresh seed in the feeder.  It was warming up a little but you can see we still have lots of snow. I took a few shots that I will share in the future off and on in time. The snow was soft underfoot and it was easy walking even though there is still three inches or more of it on the ground.

Thanks for checking in on my spot today and stay safe.

That is the most quizzical look on the little finch’s face. I am glad your snow is melting some. I know you miss the grandchildren visiting, John’s knee replacement is scheduled for next Friday, the 15th. He was referred to a second surgeon an hour away after the first dr. Declined to perform the surgery. John has bone to bone on his knee and will be glad to get the surgery.
You two stay safe and warm,

We have only had a little bit of snow...I am torn between being a bit jealous and being totally thankful that I have not had to deal with it.

I think this is the first Christmas in a long time that we have not bought Lorelei a lego set!
