Sunny Sunday...

The earth has tilted back now so the sun is in view and not behind the neighbor's house.  It is good to see the sun on a very frosty morning.

Side view shows the finished pagoda birdhouse.  I took the base that mismatched one of my first houses and reworked it with a house that matched its design. I have the top house on that base and attached it with four screws.  I can take it apart to clean it out each year.

The front view shows the opening for the luck bird that nests in it. I finished this one with another one to be the last of the bird houses that I will make for awhile.

I finished this one with its rustic roof yesterday.  I struggle to fine a roof that worked and then I found this rough painted pieces of wood from an old crate. This house has a platform in front different than all the others.

Being obsessive compulsive in the making of these, one would think I would count them all before I took this final photo.  I counted after the shot and realized that I left one house out of the picture.

The final six and the last I will make for a while.  I need the spring weather so I can dig and plant poles in the ground for some of these.  Others will go nuder the deck.

Thanks for checking in today.  Have a great Sunday day.

Love them, they will look awesome in your yard. What sort of birds are you hoping to attract to them?
