Friday the 11th...........

It is still pretty bleak out there in the orchard. The stray tulips and iris are up but everything else is still in winter mode.  No buds forming at this point of time. This collection of things that you see here all look bad until all things green up and distract the view.  The tires in the foreground are headed to the recycle plant but not until this summer.

Daffodils are up.  This particular set of bulbs did not bloom last year.  They have bloomed a lot in the past so I am hoping this is a good year.

These tulips do bloom regularly.  I had a wood pile on them last year for some reason and they didn't do so well.  The pile of sticks are gone now and let us wait to see what we will have blooming.

It pays to have a friend who likes to make cupcakes.  She had leftover ones from a baby shower that she had for a school nurse.  I don't reject any leftover cupcakes.  I don't buy the blue bunnies and chicks during Easter as I would eat them quickly and regret it.  The chocolate frosting is not just frosting as it is like a gonche. It was very sweet and very good to eat.

It is Friday and I am in the high school science room today.  The person I am subbing for today is probably in Ireland by now.  His wife's cousin owns a property there and lives there 6 or 7 months a year.  The teacher and his wife are visiting them right now.  Spring break is all next week and he left two days early to make the visit be longer.   We don't have any spring break plans like that but we are thinking we should go out and do things since I will be free for a whole week.

I appreciate your stopping by today.
