Gone Fishing

It isn't a great shot but I like how one can see the whole shape of the moon in shadow. The camera didn't want to focuse either part of the moon. I got a glowing small dipper.

The Japanese iris leaves are coated with moisture from the heavy dew. I don't know when the best time it is to trim back the leaves but I do have do it.

The rain and morning dew has the rose bloom being really soggy. I see in the shot that there is another bud yet to open on a better day.

I filled this plastic tub with water and fish. Now I have to net them all out and dump the water.

For a few days I spent time dragging the net around and collected guppies by large numbers.  I have lots of guppies now as they really multiplied in the tub.

I also had bought two feeder goldfish. They were hard to net as they would hide in the greenery and the mud in the bottom of the tub. They did double in size while growing out in the wild.

We ran into friends at Panera Bread today and had a fun time catching up on things. Usually we schedule but it just happen that we chose the same place to eat after church. We have had a cooler day today which they say is our normal fall temp. I worke a coat to church and I was glad that I did. Fall is here now qnd snow will fly sooner than I want it to.

Thanks for stopping by today.
