Things for Thursday

The start of the morning showed me that the planet is tilting back. The sun now shows up behind the taller tree and soon will be directly behindd it. It was a pretty combo of clouds and sun.

Newer burning bush is just now stating to turn it first leaf.  It didn't turn red last year due to the drought.

It is a little blurry but the composititon seems to be good.  The glory was just not focused.

I still don't know the name of this butterfly. I have so few that I have to photograph the unknown and post it anyway.

I had a plastic barrel as an outdoor water feature. I put guppies in it and is was time to close it down. I didn't have a filter system on it so the water was so green that I was concerned for the safety of the guppies. The guppies float at the top mostly so it was easy to net them quickly. You can see I had numerous.

The top view is better as there are many guppies in there. I dumped them into my largest fish tank.

The lone angel fish is in this tank and it seemed to be happy with all the activity. It makes it to be more competitive for them to get food floating on the top of the water.

We hIad a wonderful morning but then it heated up again. We are suppose to hit record high temps tomorrow. I cut down more of my sunflower stalks this morning cleaning up the look with the dead stuff gone. I got all the scraps stuffed into bags and store away for my fall dumping of it.  I will stay of the task of shutting down my gardens and trimming things down. I still have six peony bushes to cut and will wait on the zinnias until they are done from the first frost.  Weather is so warm that it is hard to believe we will every have a frost.

thanks for checking in today.
