Saturday Specials........

I will be showing you in the future our experiences with the National Hot Air Balloon Classic that we attended on Thursday evening.  This photo is what we saw at the very beginning.

At the near end this is what we saw as balloons were landing and getting ready for "night glow."

"Night Glow" is a grand finale for a wonderful evening.  I  have a lot of pictures and a lot of stories to tell how the whole classic takes place.

Buckeye Butterfly
Name found and added on Saturday pm.
Miracles do happen as I was able to get many photos of this butterfly this morning.  I will await for the specialist to tell me the name of it and I will post it below.  I also got a spectacular shot of another type of butterfly that I have never seen before but that will be shared another day. The monarchs migrate through central Iowa to their winter grounds in Mexico and that migration has started already.

A busy Saturday is being planned and yet I want it to be a less physical day.  I spent my last morning in the garden shed, straightening and sweeping.  It is looking more civilized and I can walk on sixty percent of the floor area now.  I am proud....thanks for stopping by........

The hot air balloons are always so colorful and such a delight to watch. I can imagine how gorgeous they are at night.
