A Very Cold Day with Snow.....

Sheltered fom the snow, a lone junco is enjoying fresh seed at the tray feeder. It is called a snow shower but it sure acts like a regular snow.

The sparrows are always there rain or snow. I just refilled the feeders and they really like the new supply.

Big red showed up again this morning showing off his red feathers and authority over the feeder. You can see the safflower seed is his favorite seed.

It was a very cold day again today. We had to go to a doctor's appointment across town and were out in the cold. We don't seem to be getting any break from the severe  cold until next week.  I thank you for stopping by today.
